Early on in her academic career she ran for and was elected president of the Finance and Accounting Student Association (FASA) in her sophomore year. She continues to work as an accounting intern at Welcome House, an organization that helps to end homelessness in Covington.
Rista was instrumental in helping plan and facilitate a candle-light vigil to remember an NKU student who passed away in the fall. She has also attended the IMA (Institute of Management Accountants) Leadership Conference last fall. Rista is also a Haile Ambassador.
When you see Rista in the halls of Haile, make sure you let her know how proud we are of her and her work.
Do you have a student that embodies the values of Haile College? Nominate them for a student highlight by emailing Jonathan Gaby, Comms and Marketing Manager, at gabyj@nku.edu.
