Special Events

Throughout the year we offer high school students along with their family several opportunities to visit campus.

Our Black and Gold Days, which are considered open houses, are designed for students and their families to visit NKU's campus and explore what NKU has to offer with our academic and student support departments.  These are only held in the Fall semester.

Our Closer Look Programs, which are considered open houses, are designed for students and their families to visit NKU's campus and explore specific programs more indepth than other programs including the College of Health Professions, College of Informatics, Honors College, and Student Inclusiveness. These are only held in the Fall semester.

Our NKU to You events, held regionally in locations such as  Cincinnati, Louisville, Ashland, and Southeast Indiana, allow students and their families to meet with NKU representatives in their hometown without the need of traveling to campus. These are only held in the Fall semester.

Our daily visit programs, Norse Days, are designed for current high school students. Norse Days are held on various days of the week during the school year starting at 10:00AM. These are held only in the Fall and Spring semesters.

Reservations are required. You can schedule your visit online or call our Welcome Center at (859) 572-1400 or toll-free at 1-800-637-9948. You will receive a confirmation email, including directions to campus and a campus map once we receive your visit reservation.
