Throughout the year we offer high school students and their families several opportunities to visit campus through both daily visits, as well as special events.
Our Academic Showcase Days are designed for admitted Fall 2019 students and their families. These events allow students and their families to learn more about our outstanding academic programs here at NKU. These events are only held in the Spring semester.
Our Student Services Night provides admitted Fall 2019 students the opportunity to come to campus and complete the all items on their college "to-do" list, such as confirm enrollment, select a Northern Exposure Registration Day, and apply for on-campus housing. This event is only held in the Spring semester.
The Voyage: An Honors College Experience is for high school students who have been admitted to NKU's Honors College for the upcoming year. This event provides a behind-the-scenes look at the Honors College and allows students and their families to interact with current Honors students, faculty and staff. This event is only held in the Spring semester.
Our Sophomore Showcase is designed specficially for high school sopohomores and their guests. This event allows students and their families to get a head start on college planning and provides tips for the college search process. This event is only held in the Spring semester.
Our daily visit programs, Norse Days, are designed for current high school students. Norse Days are held on various days of the week during the school year starting at 10:00AM. These are held only in the Fall and Spring semesters.
Reservations are required at all daily visits and special events. You can schedule your visit online or call our Welcome Center at (859) 572-1400 or toll-free at 1-800-637-9948. You will receive a confirmation email, including directions to campus and a campus map once we receive your visit reservation.
We look forward to meeting you.
Group Visits are scheduled on select days during the Fall and Spring semesters. To best serve our campus visitors, Group Visits are designed for students in grades 9th - 12th grades. If you would like to schedule a Group Visit for your students in 8th grade and younger, please contact our partners in Community Connections at 859-572-5600 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
