In the event of inclement weather, NKU may close for the safety of our students and staff. If a closing occurs, all campus visits will be cancelled. Please check NKU’s website for updated closing information.

Throughout the year we offer high school students and their families several opportunities to visit campus through both daily visits, as well as special events.

Special Events for Summer 2019

Our Welcome Wednesdays offer rising seniors (2020 high school graduates) and their family the opportunity to visit NKU's campus this summer. During your Welcome Wednesday, you will experience an admissions presentation and a full campus tour. This visit also includes lunch with your chosen academic major. You will walk away from this day prepared for NKU’s admissions and scholarship process!

Daily Visits

Our daily visit programs, Norse Days, are designed for current high school students. Norse Days are held on various days of the week during the school year starting at 10:00AM. These are held only in the Fall and Spring semesters. Please check back mid-July for our Fall semester offerings

Reservations are required at all daily visits and special events. You can schedule your visit online or call our Welcome Center at (859) 572-1400 or toll-free at 1-800-637-9948. You will receive a confirmation email, including directions to campus and a campus map once we receive your visit reservation.

We look forward to meeting you.

Group Visits are scheduled on select days during the Fall and Spring semesters.  To best serve our campus visitors, Group Visits are designed for students in grades 9th - 12th grades. If you would like to schedule a Group Visit for your students in 8th grade and younger, please contact our partners in Community Connections at 859-572-5600 or connect@nku.edu.
