Welcome to NKU Art & Design! We are happy that you are thinking about applying to our program. A portfolio is not required for majors and minors for admission into the NKU Art & Design Program.

Students with a portfolio are encouraged to apply for our incoming Art & Design Scholarships and to apply to NKU by Feb. 15.

Step Two for Students with a Portfolio

Students without a portfolio are also encouraged to apply by Feb. 15 to be considered for academic scholarships. No portfolio is required to declare a BA Studio Arts degree in the following tracks: Art Education, Art History, Pre-Art Therapy, Studio Arts and our BS in Photography and BA in Visual Communication Design.
