It is the mission of the NKU Art Galleries to be a premiere venue for the exhibition of high quality art works from regional, national, and international artists. The gallery will serve as an exhibition forum for the community and region to view the work of traditionally under represented groups and individuals who have contributed to the richness and diversity of our region.
To this end, the gallery will strive to create educational opportunities through outreach programs, experimental projects and institutional collaborations. We are committed to providing NKU visual arts students the opportunity to exhibit their artwork at the end of their university experience.
We are committed to exhibiting artwork in a broad range of media that engages in challenging ideas and unique methodologies with the goal of providing the university, community and region with examples of excellence in the visual arts.
The NKU Art Galleries are located on the third floor of the Fine Arts Center. The third floor is the entrance floor from the main campus plaza.
There are two gallery spaces: The Main Gallery and the Third Floor Gallery.
Due to the ongoing impact of the coronavirus, the NKU SOTA Art Galleries will be closed until further notice. The galleries will have the Juried Student Exhibition" virtually.
