GET REAL WORLD EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION THROUGH OUR TWO CENTERS

Informatics + offers students the opportunity to work with business and non-profit clients on cutting-edge informatics projects, while the Center for Information Security (CIS) is NKU’s hub for information security research and education.

Informatics+

Informatics+ is the outreach arm of Northern Kentucky University’s College of Informatics. It draws upon student, staff and faculty expertise from business informatics, computer science, communication and beyond to directly enhance student success and drive the mission of informatics.

Center for Information Security

The NKU Center for Information Security (CIS) is a multidisciplinary center for information security research and education. NKU has been designated as a National Center for Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense by the National Security Agency and U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
