What is a drop-in?

Drop-in hours are a great option for students who have quick questions that don't require a full advising appointment.

Examples of these questions are:

  • How do I drop a course?
  • Whom do I contact to get a hold removed?

Drop-ins are offered in-person and virtually throughout the semester. See below for upcoming dates.

If attending in person, drop-ins are held in GH 404. Stop by our front desk and ask to see the drop-in advisor* or a peer coach based on your question and/or timeframe.

* If you are planning to meet with a drop-in advisor, please be aware that you may not be meeting with your assigned advisor specifically, but all advisors are cross-trained and happy to help you with any question you may have.

Should I drop-in with a peer coach or an advisor?
