Visit with the Shadow Program

The Visual Arts Program offers a shadow experience for prospective students who are interested in studying one of our many Visual Arts or Design Degrees. Shadow experiences usually take at least one week to arrange, take place Monday-Thursday between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. and are set up on an individual basis according to each prospective student’s degree interests. A shadow may attend classes during fall, spring or summer semesters, but dates and times of specific classes may vary.

"Attending NKU was a life changing experience for me.
It was where I realized my artistic abilities thanks to the many talented, driven, inspiring professors who make up visual arts."

Alumnus Shannon Smith gives her insights on NKU
