Haile Future Educator Fellows

• $2,000 annual scholarship for two academic years after YSA graduation (in addition to any other scholarships or aid)
• Hands-on experience through mentoring and tutoring in their home district schools and summer employment as a counselor with NKU-sponsored K–12 summer camps (up to two weeks per year)
• A one-time $3,500 housing stipend upon program completion, certification, and employment in a Title I school or high need teaching area

• Maintaining a 3.0 cumulative GPA
• Work as a counselor at an NKU-sponsored camp for up to two weeks each summer
• Teach for at least two years in a high-need/Title I school or a critical-need subject area in Northern Kentucky after graduation

To be eligible to apply, candidates must:

• Be a student in the Young Scholars Academy (YSA)
• Intending to major in a program that leads to teacher certification in a critical-need subject area
• Have a minimum 3.0 GPA
