Students who have declared a major in any of the Physics, Geology, and Engineering Technology (PGET) programs listed below, require advising and must meet with their advisor prior to registration each semester to determine their classes. (An advising hold will be in place until this step is complete.)

myNKU - Click 'My Records' and view the 'My Advisors' tab.
SSC Navigate - Click 'Get Advising' and follow the prompts to schedule with your advisor.

If you have not been assigned an advisor...

are a first-time freshman, and/or
have earned less than 30 credit hours

re-enrolled at NKU, and/or
recently declared a major in this department, and/or
earned 30 or more credit hours

Schedule an Advising Appointment

Schedule an appointment with your advisor by any of the following methods:

Call or email them directly, OR
Visit them during office hours (which are usually posted near their office), OR
Schedule a meeting in SSC Navigate. (Once logged in, click 'Get Advising' and follow the prompts to schedule with your advisor.)
