Campus Resources

Northern Kentucky University offers a variety of campus resources to assist parents attending college. The PAC office can help you to nagivate these resources. Many of these programs are open to all student-parents, while some benefits extend only to our KTAP Scholars.

  • Childcare & Early Education

    Access to affordable, quality child care is challenging for many families, especially when one or both parents are attending college. NKU addresses this struggle through the on-campus Early Childhood Center, which offers multiple programs for children ages 1-6.

    Support Networks & Assistance

    Parents Attending College offer a monthly Parent Cafe, which is open to student parents on campus. Various speakers will discuss different topics relevant to the issues facing student parents.


  • Economic Assistance

    In the Parents Attending College office, you can learn about the various economic assets which you may qualify for. If you are interested in learning more about any of the resources listed below, please contact the Parents Attending College office.

    Your and your family's physical and mental health can have a major impact on your family's ability to thrive. Through Parents Attending College, you can learn about access to Medicaid and the various services offered through Health, Counseling, and Student Wellness.
