Natasha Pence offers piano instruction to students of all ages and levels. She believes that quality repertoire is essential to inspire musical achievement, and she includes theory, history, sight-reading, and listening skills to develop overall musicianship. Ms. Pence emphasizes healthy piano technique to help each student maximize his or her musical potential. All students have the opportunity to play in department recitals, and outside events such as Junior Music Experience and MTNA festival events.
In addition to her years of experience with classical repertoire and performance, Natasha is well-versed in popular styles and techniques. Ms. Pence actively performs as a soloist, collaborative pianist, and keyboard player. Natasha holds a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Eastern Kentucky University, Certificate in Piano Pedagogy from Northern Kentucky University, and is certified in Suzuki Book I piano. She is active in local professional organizations, including the Northern Kentucky and Southwest Ohio chapters of the Music Teachers National Association.
