Anna Bonham-White is currently a voice and piano instructor with the NKU Music Prep Program. Anna graduated with a Master of Music degree from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ and received her Bachelor of Music Education degree from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. She is also a certified teacher of Musikgarten, an early childhood music and movement curriculum, and Recreational Music Making for adults and teens.

Music learning and music making is a fulfilling, artistic process. The benefits of music making are all-encompassing - mentally, socially and physically - for everybody of all ages. Whether the student chooses music as a hobby or a career, or whether the style is classical, jazz or musical theater, I want to be the tour guide, cheerleader and fellow musician. However, no matter which path is chosen, good musicianship requires well-developed technical, aural and reading skills. Music theory, sight-reading, ear-training and technical exercises are a part of the lessons. Performance and competition/evaluation opportunities are offered as well. Materials used in lessons include: curriculum/repertoire books, accompaniment CD’s, computer and card games.
