Degree Awarded: B.A. in History

History provides insights into significant events that shaped society and had a lasting impact on the human condition. 

History students seeking to attain a Bachelor's Degree or acquire Teaching Certification can specialize in United States History, European History, World History or many subfields.

CAREER PATHS

While some students become professional historians, others find careers in education, government, law, business, and more including:

CO-OP OPPORTUNITIES

Whatever your career focus, you can gain valuable on-the-job experience in an internship or co-op arranged through NKU Career Services.

NKU students are gaining professional experience with area businesses such as Duke Energy, Fidelity Investments, The Cincinnati Reds, Hewlett-Packard, Kroger, Procter & Gamble and The Cincinnati Bengals.
