Career plan: One day I would like to be a juvenile advocate. I was in foster care for a short period of time, but this displayed what my purpose is, which is to advocate for minority children!

Co-curricular Opportunities: We have many opportunities for you to engage with faculty and fellow students like the Model UN Club, the Mock Trial Team, or the Phi Alpha Delta international law fraternity.
Internships: There are numerous internship opportunities in the Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati area including opportunities with the Hamilton County Juvenile Court, Ohio Innocence Project, Kentucky Legislative Research Commission, Intercommunity Justice and Peace Center, and local law firms and through our Future Leaders Internship Program (FLIP) (link to more).
Career Explorations: Our innovative, interdisciplinary courses, such as LAW 324: Environmental Law and LAW 480: Sports and the Law, provide a glimpse into different law careers. Or you might be interested in one of our study abroad programs to learn how organization and correctional outcomes in other countries differ from the United States.
