Writing Instruction Program

Welcome! The Writing Instruction Program at NKU is designed to help you develop the writing and research skills you will need for effective communication in the classroom and in the workplace. In addition, you will also use writing to explore your world, express your opinions, and accomplish your goals.

Our first-year course will help you make the transition to university-level writing. Our advanced course will help you become an independent writer with a more sophisticated style. In these courses, you will learn about writing for a variety of purposes, audiences, and situations.
