Who are We?

We are the Norse Center for Belonging (affectionately known as the NCB).

What Do We Do?

Connect: We serve as a resource hub and liaison for campus and community partners.

Navigate: We create meaningful connections and community with innovative programming and mentorship opportunities.

Thrive: We offer holistic, co-curricular educational experiences to promote academic success.

Our Goals

Student-Centered Empowerment

We commit to fostering our students’ confidence, self-efficacy and personal growth by providing targeted workshops, coaching and peer-led programs that support both academic success and holistic development.

Inclusive Connection

We cultivate welcoming physical and virtual spaces that encourage students to build meaningful relationships with peers, faculty and the broader NKU community through events and cohort models.

Lifelong Learning & Growth

We encourage curiosity, resourcefulness and continuous learning through co-curricular opportunities such as service projects, cultural engagement and reflective dialogues that support students’ academic and personal journeys.

Collaborative Mentorship

We facilitate diverse mentorship programs including peer, faculty and staff mentors that guide, challenge and uplift students as they navigate their unique academic, professional and personal paths.

Accessible Support

We strive to remove barriers by providing easily accessible resources, tools, and connections through inclusive design, streamlined communication and collaboration across campus to support every student’s success.
