The Health Innovation Center supports an integrated portfolio of programs to prepare a new generation of health care professionals for the future and to provide solutions to the population health and wellness challenges of the region and Commonwealth. It is an advanced facility designed for transdisciplinary research and collaboration between campus and the community. Throughout the building are spaces for learning, collaboration, and practice. The HIC includes high-tech, real-world learning spaces like the St. Elizabeth Simulation Center and collaborative spaces from formal meeting rooms to informal gathering nooks.
The Institute for Health Innovation makes many of the spaces in the Health Innovation Center available for internal and external events. From informal receptions to conferences, consider using the HIC for your next event.
With technology and thoughtfully designed space, we can simulate real-life health care situations like interviewing a patient, reading an X-ray, or administering an injection. The building will be home to the St. Elizabeth Healthcare Simulation Center.
The third floor of the Health Innovation Center is host to the Innovation Lab (Makerspace) and Health Technology Lab.
