In spring of 2020, NKU Esports was awarded $75,000 by the Success by Design Innovation Challenge to construct “The Sandbox” — a home to NKU Esports.

Our original goal was to have this space open this past August. However, the global pandemic made opening the Sandbox and admitting students into the space impossible by August.

We are pleased to announce that The Sandbox will open and serve as the official arena of NKU Esports in the fall of 2021. The arena will be located on the second floor of Founders Hall.
