    Jan. 7, 2021 - The annual Emerging Choreographer’s Showcase (ECS) Dance Film Festival is free-to-watch on the NKU ECS website. This showcase is student-produced and student-led where dance students learn about choreography, stage design, and stage management and can grow in their artistic expression.

    June 2, 2021 - NKU's School of the Arts will be streaming Dance '21, a dance concert highlighting new works by guest artists, faculty, and students. NKU's School of the Arts Theatre & Dance Program relies on intensive student involvement both inside and outside the classroom. Our staff, resources, and facilities serve the developing artist. At the program’s center is a vital balance of process and production giving each student opportunities to stretch boundaries and discover new possibilities.

Auditions & Scholarships

Approximately 25 percent of theatre majors receive scholarships. Both the Theatre & Dance Program and the University have a variety of scholarship awards for qualified students.

Audition Dates

  • Friday, Dec. 9, 2022 - Musical Theatre / Dance
  • Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022 - All disciplines except Dance
  • Friday, March 31, 2023 - All disciplines
