Joshua Steele has been a voice instructor for the NKU SOTA Theatre & Dance Program since 2012, teaching a small studio of singing actors. He was honored to be named an NKU Flame Honoree in 2019. Joshua is a professional vocalist who leads Cincinnati’s NO PROMISES Vocal Band, cantors at the Community of the Good Shepherd, performs regularly with the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra, and has appeared with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Cincinnati Opera, Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra, and numerous theatre groups. Joshua also enjoys writing plays; his works have appeared in the Cincinnati and Indianapolis Fringe Festivals, Newport’s Falcon Theater, and the Cincinnati Art Museum. In his full-time endeavors, Joshua is the manager of Memorial Hall in downtown Cincinnati, where he hosts more than 250 performances and events each year. He holds Master’s degrees in business and arts administration from the University of Cincinnati, and a Bachelor’s degree in voice performance from The Ohio State University. Joshua is married to actress Brooke Steele; they live together in Kennedy Heights with their daughters, Daphne and Selene.
