WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

The Master of Science in Computer Science provides students with the knowledge and skills of a variety of advanced computer science skills required to solve real world scenarios faced in the computing industry.

The MSCS program has a STEM designated CIP code, so F-1 visa students may qualify for the 17-month Optional Practical Training extension. For more information see http://isss.nku.edu/oissf1/f1employ.html

Career Paths

The Master of Science in Computer Science gives students the opportunity to upgrade their knowledge of current computer-related experiences. Careers in this field include advanced positions such as: Computing Specialist, Software Developer, Software Engineer, and Integration Engineer.
