POST-MASTER'S DNP PROGRAM: WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

The fully online post-master’s Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Program at Northern Kentucky University prepares nurses to utilize evidence-based knowledge and innovative practice expertise to lead initiatives and influence change to improve health outcomes for people in the community, region, and country.  Graduates will be equipped to utilize best practices in the provision of advanced nursing care health care at individual, population and organizational system levels.

Post-Master's DNP Practicum Opportunities

The DNP degree is the highest level of preparation for clinical practice in nursing. Clinical practicum experiences are an integral component of the DNP Program.

The practicum experiences are individually designed to expand knowledge and foster leadership competencies for the application, integration, and synthesis of the DNP Essentials (AACN, 2006).
