Dr. Ada T. Cenkci is an Associate Professor of Organizational Leadership. She holds a Ph.D. in management and organization, an MBA degree, and a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering. She has taught courses on leadership, culture, and leading change at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Dr. Cenkci is dedicated to creating a classroom environment that focuses on student participation, independent learning, and communication skills. She is also enthusiastic about using the latest technology tools to enhance student learning. Thus, she completed the Master of Education in Educational Technology (Instructional Design for Digital Learning program) at Wright State University.
Her research areas of interest include inclusive leadership and workplace loneliness. She has published in international journals on leadership and presented at various conferences. With her co-author A.B. Otken, she received Best Paper Award at the 2015 Midwest Academy of Management Annual Meeting. Dr. Cenkci was also awarded the “Distinguished Paper Award in Leadership” at the North American Management Society 2013 Conference. In addition, she is the recipient of the 2019 College of Arts and Science Outstanding Junior Faculty Award.
Outside of her professional interests, Dr. Cenkci enjoys improv comedy and exploring the Cincinnati-Newport area. She is always excited to meet new people and discover different cultures.
