COSTA RICA

Our class studied aspects of the history, political system, geography, climate, and culture of Costa Rica, in addition to its rich biodiversity.  The highlight of the course was a 9 day trip during Spring Break 2008 to this beautiful Latin American country.

The following web pages describe many of the things we saw and did during our field trip.  Note that the individual pages were constructed by the students in the class, as one of their graded assignments.  We hope you enjoy their descriptions of different aspects of this trip. 

This class was taught by Dr. Gregory Dahlem, and Dr. David Thompson.
