Gnuplot Demo Control File Interface
Instructions:
-
1. Enter the name of one of the server Control Files. These files
are located in the /gnuplot/WAVES/data/ directory and have the extenstion ".gp"
A short explanation of several of the examples are located below the form.
2. Click on the "Send Request" button and wait for the server to return your custom plot in GIF format. Note that complex plots will take longer to process.
errorbar:
Demonstrates different ways to plot errorbars.
hidden:
Shows different ways to view plots using hidden line removal.
jet:
An image of a fighter jet using a collection of mesh plots.
polar:
Several examples using 2-D polar coordinates.
shape3d:
A plot of a complex 3-dimensional shape with contour lines.
using: how to plot your data columns
in different orders via the "using" command.
using.dat is the data file being
manipulated. To utilize this command you must create your control
file with the Expert Interface.
whale:
An image of a whale using a collection of mesh plots.
world:
Plots of the world via a 2-D projection, spherical coordinates, and
cylindrical coordinates.
bithell:
Relative Risk functions that Bithell considered for his statistical
test for focused clustering.
Piece-wise function definition:
An example showing how to define a function piece-wise.

contour:
Demonstrates the different methods to use contour lines on a plot.
