- Your final Imath assignment is due Wednesday, 4/29.
- I thought that was an interesting comment in an article about antibodies in folks from having been infected by Covid-19: Van Kerkhove said they needed to look carefully at the way the studies were being carried out. "A number of studies we are aware of in pre-print have suggested that small proportions of the population [have antibodies]," she said. These were "in single digits, up to 14% in Germany and France". "It is really important to understand how the studies were done." [ael: my emphasis]
  That would include asking how they found the people to test. Was it at random or were they blood donors, who tend to be healthy adults? They would also need to look at how well the blood tests were performed.
  Was it at random? We ask this question in class a lot. It's important; it's important as we try to understand this virus transmission, and how to cope with it.

- Today we are finishing up our last packet, Packet 11: Intro to Two Sample Inference. I encourage you to fill out your packet along with these videos, as usual. It would be good to do the calculations as we go, too -- don't rely on imagining that you'll be able to do them when the moment arrives.
