Today:

• Return 14.3 problems.

• Collect problems 14.4 (as late as Friday), if you wish. It will count as extra credit. Remember that I'm dropping your four worst homework grades.

  • The organization:
    • 30% will be "new stuff": section 14.3 and 14.4, and 11.5, and technical in nature
    • 30% will be "old stuff", from the first exam, technical in nature
    • 40% will be "conceptual stuff", with the goal of discovering if you're in the right ballpark (story problems, etc.). Examples:
      • Discuss approximate integration techniques
      • Give some example
  • You will no doubt be allowed to skip a few problems. I know that there will be certain things that you forget/neglect to study. Perhaps 2 of ten problems can be skipped. Some problems will not be "skippable"!
