Biggest problem - failure to meet the requirements! Recall the directions:
- You will write a short paper (typed, 5 pages double-spaced, with
references), with an appendix including your graphs and a brief
explanation of how to understand the information they contain.
- You will create a small poster (2x2 feet, using a piece of cardboard as
the backing) which illustrates your paper (but serves as a stand-alone
description of your state's superfund situation).
The grade will be based on the following:
- Overview: did you give a nice comprehensive overview of your state's
	problems?
- Single Site Analysis: did you give a good detailed analysis of a single
	site?
- Examination of some mathematical side issue (e.g. a time series showing
how your special site's contamination decreased over time).
- Tool use: did you use ArcView and Excel to advantage? For example, you
could use ArcView to create a map of your state, with the affected cities
selected (much like the map on the website). You could use Excel to graph some
data from one of the sites.
- References: did you use several, and cite them properly?
- Creativity - in display and analysis
- My (and other professors') reviews of your posters.
