DNA Melting Temperature Problem 1

Incorrect!

Tutorial to help us answer problem 1.

The melting temperature of a DNA molecule that is 450 bp long and has a 50% GC content can be computed as,

tm = 64.9 + 0.41(%GC) - (500/length of DNA) - 64.9 + 0.41(50)- (500/450) is approximately 84.3 degrees C
