Heart Activity

A reminder that the equation is:

QTc = 425 - 676 · e -0.0037·RR ,

where RR is the RR interval from an ECG (all units are in milliseconds).

2.

Suppose that an a patient's QTc is written on their chart as 320 ms. According to the above equation, what would you expect their RR to be?

Answer:   ≈
ms.

Problem 1- Calculate the corrected QT interval

Problem 2- Calculate the RR interval

Problem 3- When can you use this correction?
