Dr. Denice Robertson

Denice Robertson is Senior Lecturer in the Department of Biological Sciences. In her fifteen years with NKU, Denice has worked with both CINSAM and Biological Sciences in administrative and teaching positions. She has continuously sought to integrate evidence-based practices into her teaching and in the transdisciplinary courses she created. Denice then shared her experiences by starting a Faculty Learning Community within CINSAM, where she and others presented techniques and experiences from their teaching. She has attended the National AAC&U and Project Kaleidoscope Summer Leadership Institute for STEM Faculty in 2016, and she translated that experience into a Teaching Practices Inventory, which led to an impressive grant in STEM teaching and learning from the NSF.
