NORTHERN EXPOSURE: Registration and Orientation

Northern Exposure consists of BOTH Registration and Orientation. These two programs are designed to help students and families get to know NKU on a deeper level. You will meet with faculty and staff; get to know some of your new classmates, as well as current students; learn about university resources; and register for your fall classes. You will leave Northern Exposure with a better understanding of what life will be like as a Norse! As a reminder, once you have paid the $75.00 Enrollment Confirmation Fee, you will be invited to sign up for Northern Exposure: Registration and Orientation. You may not register for your Registration date until you pay your Enrollment Confirmation Fee.

  1. REGISTRATION is a one-day experience that happens in June or July- you get to pick your date based on your major! At Registration you will meet with your academic advisor and register for your fall classes!
  2. ORIENTATION is a three-day experience just for freshmen right before classes begin in August!

Both Registration AND Orientation are mandatory for all incoming freshmen.
