Both Northern Exposure: Orientation AND VictorFest are mandatory for all incoming freshmen.
All recent high school graduates are required to complete a Northern Exposure: Orientation program and the first two days of VictorFest. Northern Exposure: Orientation will be held through out June, July, and August and specific dates can be found below.
Northern Exposure: VictorFest will be held the Friday before the fall semester starts. Students will be placed in a small group and spend the day rotating through educational sessions, teambuilding activities, and New Student Convocation. If you are unable to participate fully on this day, please email orientation@nku.edu to learn more about how to complete this requirement.
Since the beginning of the school year is coming up, that means VictorFest is coming up, too! VictorFest is part of Northern Exposure and is required for all first time students who are under the age of 21. These students will need to attend the mandatory sessions of VictorFest, which they will be led to in their groups throughout the day. If you are a first time student who is unable to attend, please be sure you have completed all modules at orientation.nku.edu.
