April 17, 2019— Northern Kentucky University invites the community to celebrate highlights from the spring 2019 semester during the President’s Spring Forum on April 18 at 11 a.m.

This tradition began in December when President Ashish Vaidya called the campus together to review and celebrate all the accomplishments during his first semester leading NKU.

The spring 2019 semester has had many highlights, including launching the university’s Success by Design strategic framework, opening the expanded FUEL NKU Zero Hunger | Zero Waste Food Pantry and the men’s basketball team’s NCAA tournament appearance. The president will also discuss the 2020 fiscal year budget, look ahead to May Commencement and recap other milestones.

NKU will hold a reception at 10:30 a.m. in Alumni Hall outside the Student Union Ballroom to acknowledge the work that went into creating Success by Design. The President’s Spring Forum will also be live streamed. Click here to view that event.

About NKU: Founded in 1968, we are a growing metropolitan university of more than 14,000 students served by more than 2,000 faculty and staff on a thriving suburban campus near Cincinnati. Located in the quiet suburb of Highland Heights, Kentucky—just seven miles southeast of Cincinnati—we have become a leader in Greater Cincinnati and Kentucky by providing a private school education for a fraction of the cost. While we are one of the fastest growing universities in Kentucky, our professors still know our students' names. For more information, visit nku.edu.
