August 7, 2018– Northern Kentucky University will host an open registration event as part of Victorfest. The session is for prospective students who still need to complete the admissions and registration process before classes begin on Monday, August 20, 2018.

The open registration event will be held 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2018. Check-in will be located in the Office of Admissions on the fourth-floor of the Lucas Administrative Center.

“We know summers get busy. Students aren’t thinking about fall classes until now, but the good news is that it’s not too late,” said Melissa Gorbandt, director of Undergraduate Admissions.  “That’s why we are holding an open registration event to finish enrollment for the fall semester during Victorfest. Students can stop by this event, meet with an advisor and finish the process. We want to make it easy for them.”

Students can meet with admissions professionals, address any transfer issues, consult academic advisors, discuss university housing, register for classes and complete financial aid documents.

Information about admission requirements is available at, or students can contact the NKU Office of Admissions at (859) 572-5220 or For more information on Victorfest and more details on the events, visit
