The American Civil Liberties Union of Kentucky will present a 60th Anniversary Reception and Panel Discussion on Thursday, Oct. 22, beginning at 4:30 p.m., in the third floor of Steely Library.
As part of their celebration, the ACLU of Kentucky is traveling the state with an exhibit dedicated to their work over these past six decades.
The panel will begin at 5 p.m., and will include Dr. Eric Jackson, director of the Black Studies Program at NKU; Kenneth Katkin from Chase College of Law; Michael Aldridge, executive director of the ACLU of Kentucky; and Laura Fitzer, a third-year law student at Chase Law and president of the Chase chapter of the American Constitution Society, who will also serve as moderator.
