NKU WILL CLOSE AT 4:30 P.M. ON MARCH 4, 2015 (and other activity cancellations)

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – With more winter weather likely on the way, a number of University events and activities are cancelled.

Up-to-the-minute University closing information will be shared via the NKU homepage and social media channels, Norse Alert, and local media.

UPDATE: NKU will close at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4. All classes will end at 4:30 p.m., and all classes scheduled to begin after 4:30 p.m. are cancelled.

Below are activities that have been cancelled:

  • The Vine & Branches Campus Ministry Wednesday gathering has been canceled.

  • Wednesday's Six@Six lecture featuring Dr. Paul Tenkotte at The Carnegie has been cancelled. All ticket holders will be able to redeem their ticket to attend Dr. Tenkotte's lecture at Regional History Day at NKU on Saturday, March 28, at 10 a.m. (Details: http://artscience.nku.edu/departments/hisgeo/projects/historyday.html). If you are unable to attend History Day, you can exchange your ticket for an upcoming Six@Six lecture. If you would prefer a refund and purchased your ticket online, you must process your refund at http://www.brownpapertickets.com by noon on Wednesday, March 4.

  • Wednesday's 9th Region boys quarterfinals at The Bank of Kentucky Center have been cancelled. Updated schedule:

    Boys quarterfinals: Friday, March 6; 6:30, 8 p.m.
    Boys quarterfinals: Saturday, March 7; noon, 1:30 p.m.
    Boys semifinals: Monday, March 9; 6:30, 8 p.m.
    Boys championship: Tuesday, March 10; 7 p.m.
