Annual Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Report

RE: Annual Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Report


Pursuant to the federal law identified as “Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crimes Statistics Act,” all currently enrolled students, campus employees, prospective students and prospective employees are entitled to request and receive a copy of the Annual Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Report.

The report contains policies and practices pertaining to campus security, crime reporting, alcohol and drugs, victim assistance programs, student discipline policies, campus resources, community safety alerts, crime prevention, access to campus facilities and properties, as well as personal safety tips. The report also includes the Annual Fire Safety Report.

The Northern Kentucky University Police Department encourages the reporting of all criminal offenses and campus safety and security concerns, and provides information about how to report crimes.

The Annual Campus Crime Report and the Fire Safety report can both be viewed electronically at 2013%20Campus%20Security%20Act%20Report%20for%202012%20All%20Campuses%20FINAL.pdf. The Fire Safety Report can also be viewed separately at http://oper-maint.nku.edu/services/environment/firesafety.html. A paper copy will be provided upon request by calling the University Police Department at (859) 572-5500 or by emailing webbk4@nku.edu.
