NKU ExploreMore! and Norse Think Tank accepting applications

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - The Northern Kentucky University Institute for Talent Development and Gifted Studies is accepting applications for the fall 2013 ExploreMore! and Norse Think Tank Enrichment Programs through Friday, Oct. 12. Registration is available online at http://gifted.nku.edu or by calling (859) 572-5600.

ExploreMore! and Norse Think Tank classes will begin Saturday, Oct. 19, and continue for consecutive Saturdays until Nov. 16. The ExploreMore Program is for students in grades K-5 and the Norse Think Tank Program is for students in grades 5-8. Both programs offer a broad range of interactive, hands-on courses that students select to match their interests and abilities.

This fall’s classes include topics such as CreARTivity; Beginning Guitar; Gobs of Goo; Greek Mythology; Chess of Fun; Beginning Karate; Minecraft Explorations; Caves are Cool!; Roller Coaster Physics; LEGO Story Starter Adventures and many more.

Class sizes are limited to provide an optimum teaching and learning environment. Classes are taught by qualified teachers, focus on a central theme and are designed to allow students to explore their natural curiosities.
