HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky University Haile/US Bank College of Business announced today that Jennifer Sneed has been hired as projects and events manager.
Along with administrative support, Sneed will oversee projects and events for the college and manage its social media and public relations campaigns.
“I feel very fortunate to join Dr. Richard Kolbe’s staff,” said Sneed. “I’m coming on board at a pivotal time for NKU and I’m looking forward to being a part of the growth and change that is happening here.”
A native of northern Kentucky, Sneed earned her bachelor’s degree in public relations from NKU in 2005. She brings a variety of experiences to the university, including three years at the University of Dayton, where she served as assistant director of athletics communication. Sneed played a vital role in helping UD athletics re-brand its program while overseeing the department’s publications and environmental graphics.
More recently, Sneed spent two years as a fundraising events manager for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, where she helped manage fundraising events and donor relations.
“Jennifer brings with her the breadth of knowledge and energy we sought for this most important position in the college,” said Kolbe, dean of the Haile/US Bank College of Business. “We believe that our internal and external communications and activities will be greatly enhanced with Jennifer working with us. We feel most fortune to have been able to hire her.”
