Course Reserves are materials and resources that have been set aside at the Steely Library by a faculty member to be used for a class; they can be either print or electronic.

The Library Instruction program seeks to incorporate meaningful information literacy skills and concepts into the curriculum. Our program is built through partnerships with course instructors to improve information literacy in several ways, including leading classroom sessions, developing online materials, and reviewing research projects before they’re assigned to students.

The Center for Innovation and Technology in Education exists to assist the university community with integrating technology into academia and administration.

Make a suggestion to add a one-time purchase, like a book, music score, map, or streaming media to the library's collection.

The Interlibrary Loan service allows NKU campus students, faculty, and staff to request to borrow books, articles and other materials not owned, or not available, at Steely Library.

The Affordable Course Materials are a means of helping reduce textbook costs for students. The library has a selection of textbooks and partners with faculty to identify and incorporate no-cost course materials.

The Digital Scholarship and Communications (DSC) program supports faculty and students in using digital tools to discover, organize, share, and publish their research and data. DSC offers training and consultation on topics such as data curation, text mining, geographic information systems, project management, open access publishing, copyright, patent and trademarking, and scholarly repositories.

CITE has a variety of technology available for faculty to checkout and use to enhance teaching.

The University Records and Information Management program assists offices and departments in managing records to meet the administrative, financial, legal and historical needs of the university.

The CITE area in Steely is reserved for faculty and staff to use. We have several types of spaces and tools available whether you want to meet other faculty or collaborate with a committee.
