The Department of Biological Sciences offers majors for students who are passionate about the science of living organisms including biology, environmental science, neuroscience, and pre-professional programs such as pre-medicine and pre-pharmacy. Students will have the opportunity to participate in undergraduate research, take interdisciplinary courses, gain valuable hands-on experience through internships, community engagement, and project-based courses, and receive tailored mentoring as you plan your future career.
Paid undergraduate research positions provide valuable experience and the opportunity to contribute to ongoing biology research supported by the NSF and NIH.
