*Students who do not wish to obtain an F-1 student visa will not be required to prove financial support.
For students who will need to obtain an F-1 visa, in order to receive the I-20 form, which you will show to the consulate to obtain your visa, you must prove that you can pay the 9 months cost of attendance at NKU, which is currently $19,827 for the 2017-2018 school year (summer not included). If dependents (son, daughter, wife, or husband) will accompany you while you are studying at NKU, you will need to provide proof of an additional $6,000 for your spouse and/or $3,000 for each child that you plan to bring with you. The Dependent Request Form will need to be submitted along with your bank statement and NKU Financial Agreement Form.
