Stephanie Brumer, M.F.A. is a dance artist, educator, choreographer, model and actor from the Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati area. She has an MFA in Dance and Creative Practice from Saint Mary’s College of CA, and a BFA in Theatre and Dance from Northern Kentucky University, complemented with over 25 years of experience in teaching and performing. Her professional credits include dancing, choreography, modeling, and acting, from New York to California, and as far away as Honolulu, HI. Most recent credits include dancer in a national commercial for the Zone Perfect energy bar, dance performances at the Lincoln Theater in Napa Valley, California, the Dance Mission in San Francisco, LeFevre Theatre at Saint Mary’s College of California and company member of Bone and Fiddle Dance Collective in Portsmouth, OH. Currently, Stephanie is teaching a dance and somatic movement workshop at The Theatre Training Institute in partnership with Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati, is part-time dance faculty at Northern Kentucky University School of the Arts, serves as director of NKU SOTA Dance Troupe, and teaches at Uptown Arts-an outreach program for intercity children in Cincinnati. Stephanie’s inspiration comes from the love and support of her husband Steven and their five beautiful children.
