Mainstage Musical Theatre and Dance Company offers comprehensive classes and camps for children ages 7-17. Under the incredible team direction of Dee Anne Bryll, Joy Burdette, and Stephanie Brumer, MMTDC provides high quality, comprehensive experiences that inspire, encourage, and grow students to meet their full potential.


2018–2019 Program Offerings

Mainstage Musical Theatre Co.

Mondays 4:30-6 p.m.
Fine Arts Center Rooms 116, 117, and 378, NKU School of the Arts
Semester begins Monday, January 14, 2019
Tuition: $600 for the academic year (payment plan available)

Mainstage runs from Sept.–May. Registration is for the entire academic year.

This comprehensive musical experience combines singing, acting, and dancing. Students engage in solo and ensemble singing, scene staging, costume and set creation, and of course performances on the "Mainstage!"

Dance Techniques Class

Dance Techniques class focuses on incorporating a combination of dance genres: ballet concepts to build strength, technique and body control; Jazz movement to improve coordination, full-range of motion and build an understanding of different styles of Jazz dance; and modern dance using creative expression and improvisation to improve body awareness and expressivity. This class will provide students with poise, confidence, strength, flexibility, and a well-rounded understanding of dance movement and performance quality.

Mondays 6:15-7 p.m. (Students attending Mainstage class prior to DTC should bring a snack, change of clothes, etc. and will be welcome to enter the classroom under the supervision of the DTC teachers at 6 p.m.)

$50 per semester for students enrolled in Mainstage Musical Theatre Co.
$175 per semester for students not enrolled in Mainstage Musical Theatre Co.
