Family Piano Lab 2 is a continuation of Family Piano Lab 1, which is designed for young students who are 6–9 years old (must be 6 yrs. as of May 1, 2018) and an adult (parent, grandparent, aunt, etc.) who are also beginners or beginning again. The curriculum is designed for the students to enjoy learning and playing together through group activities, ensembles, and improvisation. Students will learn to read musical notation through an approach that emphasizes hearing and experiencing the musical concepts before reading.
