FPL will be back in Fall 2018!

Piano Lessons for Families

Family Piano Lab is designed for young students who are 5-8 years old (must be 5 yrs. as of May 1, 2017) and an adult (parent, grandparent, aunt, etc.) who are also beginners or beginning again. The curriculum is designed for the students to enjoy learning and playing together through group activities, ensembles, and improvisation. Students will learn to read musical notation through an approach that emphasizes hearing and experiencing the musical concepts before reading. Each participant will be on their own keyboard (not sharing a keyboard) and will have their own book which includes a CD. In Family Piano Lab, everyone is a learner! Not just the child! This is a very interactive class for everyone to enjoy!

(Spring Semester requires that you have taken the Fall Semester FPL or have previous piano experience. If that is the case, please contact Anna Bonham-White for consideration.)
