The peer coaches in the College of Informatics are here to serve as role models for student success and provide support for first and second year students as they transition to college.

This support not only helps with the transition process, but it also gives students the resources they need to excel beyond their college career. Peer coaches help students navigate the university environment and provide guidance on major and career choices, college success skills, and campus involvement.

Other things peer coaches can help students with include:

  • Navigating the online registration process
  • Navigating the degree audit system
  • Exploring and setting up a Handshake account
  • Finding and utilizing campus resources
  • Developing skills for the future by providing organization tips and tricks
