Alexandra Navarro-Guzman was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico and takes pride in supporting and advocating for her Hispanic/ Latinx community. Ms. Navarro-Guzman graduated in 2020 from Northern Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s in International Business and Human Resource Management. She focused her academic and experiential learning experiences in areas that sparked her passions in diversity and inclusion.
Ms. Navarro-Guzman is currently in her second year of her Master’s in Business Leadership and Innovation (MBLI) at NKU and with previous experience in diversity and inclusion, her interests lie in workforce development, inclusivity initiatives, and business innovation. Ms. Navarro-Guzman is currently the Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator at Bon Secours Mercy Health where she assists in developing, delivering, and monitoring D&I training and programing. In this role, she partners with HR leaders to endure that D&I training and materials are distributed to support specific strategies and tactics to achieve and measure success.
Before this role, Ms. Navarro-Guzman served as a Learning Delivery Specialist within Bon Secours Mercy Health where she coordinated and implemented culture and learning initiatives. With a focus in planning of major system learning initiatives, some of her responsibilities included facilitation, coordination of educational activities and support to Culture & Learning.
At NKU she currently serves as a member of the Young Alumni Council (NKU YAC), President of the International Business Student Association (IBSA), VP of Membership & PR of Beta Gamma Sigma (NKU BGS), Member of Women in Business (NKU WIB), Member of League of United Latin American Citizens (NKU LULAC), and Mentor for Latino Mentor Program (LAMP).
Ms. Navarro-Guzman hopes to establish herself as a leader in the aviation industry and continue her work as a champion of Diversity and Inclusion.
