This year, the event will take place virtually on March 23 & 24 with two keynote speakers and twenty-two breakout sessions. MOST College of Business classes will be canceled these days to allow students to participate. Sylvia Buxton is a strategic global executive with more than three decades of experience in fast moving consumer goods, shepherding high profile businesses and brands such as Mentos, Hershey’s, Reese’s, and Airwick. Sylvia’s career spans the US and Canada, as well as global and regional roles. She currently leads the North American business unit of more than 900 employees across US, Canada and Mexico for Perfetti Van Melle, the second largest global candy and chewing gum manufacturer. Prior to Perfetti van Melle, she was Senior Director of Marketing at the Hershey Company, where she led Hershey’s chocolate brands in Canada, Latin America and World Travel Retail. She started her career in Canada at Reckitt Benckiser.
