Business Week has long been part of the Haile/US Bank College of Business and our strong desire to create linkages between students and the business community we serve. The annual event exposes students to valuable, cutting-edge business-centered presentations from experienced professionals, provides students with networking opportunities with local employers and celebrates the accomplishments of our alumni and the great strides the Haile/US Bank College of Business is taking to educate and connect with the Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati communities.

A variety of events will take place between September 23 and 25. On Tuesday, September 24 and Wednesday, September 25 all College of Business classes will be canceled to allow students to participate in our two-day business-centered conference.

Bring the Hustle: Achieving Your Authentic Brand

Wednesday, September 25, 2019
8:45AM - 10:00AM | Eva G. Farris Auditorium - MEP 200

Northern Kentucky University’s Haile/US Bank College of Business and Procter & Gamble Co. are proud to present this year’s keynote address “Bring the Hustle: Achieving Your Authentic Brand,” during 2019’s Business Week. Attendees will hear from Tristan Walker, CEO and Founder of Walker & Company Brands. Mr. Walker engages in a fireside chat led by Dave Knox, a leading consultant and award winning author of, “Predicting the Turn: The High Stakes Game of Business Between Startups and Blue Chips.”

Walker & Company Brands, recently acquired by Procter & Gamble, is a family of brands designing health and beauty solutions for people of color. The company launched with the introduction of its first brand, Bevel, after Tristan, a man of color, couldn’t find a razor he liked – so he created his own. Prior to launching Bevel, Tristan was an entrepreneur-in-residence at Andreessen Horowitz and the Director of Business Development for Foursquare.

All Business Week related activities are free of charge to current NKU students. Community members interested in attending, "Bring the Hustle: Achieving Your Authentic Brand," are welcome to attend with purchase of ticket.
